We are currently searching for an Assistant Buyer to join the Merchandise team in our beautiful Head Office in Alexandria. This role is full time in the office. Why we will love you To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to effectively support the Buying and Merchandising team in achieving sales, margin, and stock turn targets across both retail and online channels. You will demonstrate strong organizational and administrative skills to manage seasonal stock flow and maintain key Buying tools such as trade reports, assortment plans, and visual range plans. You will communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders across the business to align on Buying actions and merchandising strategies. You will show initiative in managing your own product categories, developing showroom presentations, and maintaining supplier relationships. A keen analytical mindset will allow you to identify replenishment opportunities and contribute to strategic decisions. Responsibilities Driving Assembly Label’s retail and online division to deliver sales, margin and stock turn targets Day-to-day administrative support to the Buying team Managing seasonal stock flow, communicating to all stakeholders to support the brands merchandising strategy Creating and in maintaining key Buying tools, including trade reports, assortment planning and visual range planning. Setting showroom & maintaining samples. Maintaining effective relationships with key suppliers and research new potential suppliers Managing Core line cards along with Planning team. Developing the implementation, management and monitoring of product assortment by store grid Providing analysis on replenishment opportunities to Senior Buyer.
