Full time, fixed term for 12 months Contribute to the development of new computational methods Base Salary $105,314 - $116,679 17% superannuation About the opportunity The School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering (AMME) is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Computational Mechanics. You will contribute to the development of new computational methods for multi-scale and multi-physics analysis and optimization of multi-functional structures under uncertainty, and accelerating analysis and optimization via using efficient and effective data-driven surrogate learning models. You will; conduct research, independently or as part of a team develop and refine independent research skills under the supervision of more senior academic staff provide informal mentoring and advice to students within discipline. carry out administrative tasks and contribute to faculty/school meeting contribute to a positive workplace culture in which diversity of thought, contribution, collaboration, excellence and achieving outcomes are valued and enabled understand and contribute to furthering the university and faculty/school strategic agenda.
