About the role Lead the delivery of high-quality dispensary and clinical services provided by the SVHS Pharmacy Team, ensuring these services meet hospital objectives and are delivered safely and efficiently. Innovate and improve services by collaborating with Team Leaders to develop innovative and efficient service models, support quality improvement and research activities, and implement new technologies to optimise service delivery. Act as an escalation point for team members and external stakeholders, and create and sustain systems that support daily operational management (including workforce planning and smart rostering). Play a central role in the Pharmacy Leadership Team, working closely with the Deputy Director of Pharmacy (Corporate Services) and Deputy Director of Pharmacy (Investigational Drugs) to influence strategy, culture, and service excellence across the department. Active support, participation and commitment to the professional development of the department including programs of education, quality use of medications, practice-based research and contributing to a creative, innovative patient-centred pharmacy services aligned to SVHS strategic goals About you Hold current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist with no scope on conditions of practice. Bring extensive hospital pharmacy experience, with a strong background in operational leadership Possess in-depth knowledge of NSW and Commonwealth pharmacy legislation and regulatory standards Have proven experience with Drug Committee processes, formulary management, and policy implementation Demonstrate sound understanding of HR practices, including recruitment and performance management Experienced in managing pharmacy inventory and financial systems within a hospital setting Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills to coordinate complex services Why work at St Vincent’s?
