Role description: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Cost Manager to join our Cost and Commercial Management Team, supporting the delivery of multiple commissions and contributing to the success of our projects within the Social Infrastructure and broader property sectors. Reporting directly to one of our talented and experienced Associate Directors , you will play a key role in the delivery of cost management and quantity surveying services that will shape the future of the cities we live in. Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience and capability in the delivery of Schools and University Projects, with experience in Data Centres also desired but not essential. Role accountabilities include, but are not limited to: • Preparing cost plans and estimates at all stages of the design process. Undertaking cost control activities during the construction phase of projects through the delivery of progress claim assessments and recommendations, assessing contract variations, and the preparation of cost reports and cash flow forecasts. Participating in risk management, value management and optioneering workshops as may be required; Working closely with and communicating with the internal and external teams to address issues or concerns as they arise. Helping the Cost and Commercial Management team to establish and work within agreed parameters and procedures. Supporting the development of the Arcadis Cost and Commercial Management offering in a client-facing role, through the delivery of services to a high quality. Delivering commissions within the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations, while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality. Qualifications & Experience: If you are an experienced Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor with a passion for delivering high-quality services, we want to hear from you! To thrive in this role, you will ideally possess: A passion for transforming the world around you and improving the quality of life. A relevant degree in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying related areas. Professional qualification with either the AIQS or RICS would be considered an advantage, Demonstrated experience working on projects within the Social Infrastructure and broader property sectors. Experience in the delivery of Data Centres would also be considered an advantage. Strong expertise in cost management, including the use of software applications such CostX, and @Risk (preferred but not essential). Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualified experience in a similar role.
