About the role Telstra’s in-house creative agency is looking for a Senior Content Producer to play a critical role in the delivery of Telstra’s 1:1 customer content. This role is the delivery lead within the newly formed 1:1 & CRM Squad, responsible for managing the end-to-end process and successful delivery of the CRM strategic calendar. You will work alongside the 1:1 Strategist to plan and lead the workflow across consumer and small business marketing. This is a senior role, requiring strong autonomy, stakeholder management and CRM execution experience. Beyond execution, this role will oversee production quality and contribute to creative excellence - bringing both technical expertise and a customer-first approach to the team. The ideal candidate is a highly capable, self-sufficient delivery expert, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle producing, editing and outputting content seamlessly, without needing extensive oversight. Key Responsibilities In your role as Senior Content Producer , you will be responsible for elevating Telstra’s creative standards across all 1:1 customer touchpoints, including emails, digital in app messages, and direct mailers part of CRM campaigns. You will focus on building a culture of creativity, innovation, and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will ensure that customer insights and data-driven strategies inform creative solutions, driving impactful and effective campaigns. CRM Content Planning & Execution Develop and maintain a structured CRM content calendar, ensuring visibility across marketing functions. Work closely with 1:1 Strategists and Marketing Teams to align content with business priorities. Ensure CRM content meets brand guidelines, personalization requirements and best practices. Workflow & Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate content briefings, ensuring Creative Designers and Copywriters are aligned on objectives and deadlines. Streamline workflows, optimising production, review and approval processes for efficiency. Collaborate with Marketing Automation teams to ensure proper content deployment and audience segmentation is considered in the creative process . Performance & Optimization Monitor content performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and use insights to refine CRM strategies with our 1:1 Strategist. Implement A/B testing methodologies to optimize messaging, visuals and layout structures. Work with data and analytics teams to integrate insights into future CRM content planning. The successful candidate will have: 5 years of experience in CRM content production, content management or digital marketing. Strong understanding of 1:1 marketing, email/SMS personalization and automation workflows. Experience managing high-volume CRM programs across multiple audience segments. Proven ability to work autonomously, leading CRM content execution end to end. without direct leadership oversight. Expertise Knowledge of critical in CRM platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, HubSpot or similar). Knowledge of email and SMS design best practices, including mobile optimization. Experience with performance tracking tools and A/B testing frameworks.
