We seek a skilled and experienced professional to contribute to the high-quality finishes and maintenance of our homes and support our growing operations. Current Opening: This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week). Position Responsibilities and Tasks Review design plans and inspect tiny home and granny flat surfaces to determine the type of work and materials required. Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling gaps, and ensuring smooth finishes for high-quality craftsmanship. Apply paints, stains, and protective coatings to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers. Assess and mix paint colours to match design specifications and maintain consistency across builds. Conduct finishing touches on cabinetry, trims, and custom woodwork to enhance the aesthetic appeal of tiny homes and granny flats. Perform routine maintenance and touch-ups on existing tiny homes and granny flats to preserve quality and longevity. Ensure all work aligns with Havenwood Tiny Homes’ quality standards and client expectations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper disposal of materials and regular tool maintenance. Work collaboratively with designers, builders, and clients to meet project timelines and deliver exceptional results. Follow all industry safety and environmental guidelines to uphold a safe and sustainable work environment. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification at Certificate III or Certificate IV level At least two years of full-time work experience as a painter Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship. Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork ability. Able to work efficiently with and without supervision. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to painting and construction. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $73,150 to $80,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
