The Role Join an established engineering team for a leading Australian-owned agribusiness. Responsible for both Workshop-based and Field-based fabrication, your work will involve the repair, modification, and maintenance of mobile and fixed-plant machinery, including irrigation equipment, packing line machinery, tractor modifications, and more. As a leading producer of bananas and other tropical fruits, they manage extensive farming operations across multiple regions, employing over 500 staff. The fabrication workshop is located approximately 10 minutes north of Tully, with farm locations within a 20 - 40-minute drive. Occasionally, work may require overnight stays at farms further afield, with accommodation and meals provided (planned over 6 weeks in advance).
