About Lizard Centre: For over 20 years the Lizard Centre has been a leader in Applied Behaviour Analysis and early intervention in Australia. We provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Behavioural Therapy Assistant who is available to work with a family in Devon Park and Eastwood for 2 sessions per week . This role involves working 1:1 with one of the two brothers, each of whom will have their own dedicated Therapy Assistant. You will be responsible for delivering 2 individualised therapy sessions per week with the same child, helping support their development and goals. Session Details: Tuesdays (fortnightly) Devon Park (home-based): 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM Eastwood (centre-based): 3:25 PM - 5:40 PM Thursdays Devon Park (home-based): 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in varied settings, including home/clinic/school Support clients in developing their skills; communication, social interactions and emotional regulation Collect client data to track progress and identify areas of improvement Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation Skills & Experience Studying or completed a Degree/ Certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred) Experience working with children is highly desirable Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential Requirements: Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain) NDIS Worker Orientation Module – 'Quality, Safety and You' Australian Driver’s License & Vehicle Laptop/iPad - you will be using your own device on shift How to Apply: Shortlisted applicants will be scheduled for a 5 minute phone call with our People & Culture Assistant Olivia Sorokin.
