Based at either Milton/Blacktown/Docklands and working with the Virtual Services team, Shift Supervisors provide shift management and real time supervision 24/7 to practitioners working within yourtown’s Virtual Services across a range of programs and channels including voice, webchat and peer to peer support services including Kids Helpline, Parentline, My Circle and other programs that may be added as part of service development. Shift Supervisor positions require a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week across a 24/7 roster. The successful applicant will need to be able to work the attached roster (up to 76 hours per fortnight). Shift Supervisor rosters are developed based on available shifts and matched to on-shift demand. Rosters are reviewed periodically to ensure alignment to individual and business needs. what we are looking for We’re looking for people who authentically live our values. You will bring: • tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, counselling or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years practice experience • demonstrated operational experience in a human services environment • demonstrated understanding of counselling frameworks and skills required when responding to people from diverse backgrounds • demonstrated leadership qualities • demonstrated high standard of performance in relation to working effectively and ethically in client safety and duty of care cases and with complex and case managed clients • high level communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships to achieve successful outcomes • high level computer literacy and demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering digital mental health interventions • demonstrated capacity to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team application process Applications are to be submitted online and must include your current resume and a maximum one page cover letter.
