Job Description Newly Created role Exciting and fast moving culture Excellent personal benefits Position Purpose This Finance Business Partner role is responsible for leading financial compliance activities, maintaining internal controls, supporting key financial processes, and assisting with strategic finance projects across Australia. The role will play a critical part in managing financial integrity, supporting transactional reporting, and ensuring accuracy across reconciliations and P&L ownership. In addition, the role will act as a point of escalation for financial issues requiring resolution or investigation. Key Responsibilities; Own and manage specific P&Ls and Advertising Fund P&Ls. Perform variance analysis, cost tracking, and provide insights to business stakeholders. Ensure timely and accurate reporting and financial accountability. Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks, company policies, and applicable regulatory standards Identify, document, and mitigate risks through process improvement and control enhancements Assist with the management and monitoring of KPIs Review and approve key balance sheet reconciliations prior to Head of Finance sign-off. Provide support in resolving aged or unusual balance sheet items in coordination with relevant teams Provide finance support to major business and finance transformation projects including Represent finance requirements in cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with finance systems and controls. Act as a point of escalation for ad-hoc credit recovery issues or follow-up of balance sheet items requiring clearing. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external parties to investigate and resolve outstanding issues The ideal candidate; Be Qualified CA/CPA ideally with a tertiary qualification in finance or commerce Strong understanding of financial compliance, controls, and reconciliations High attention to detail and analytic capability Ability to navigate and resolve complex financial issues Proven stakeholder management and communication skills Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working autonomously and in a team Comfortable operating in a changing, project-oriented environment For more information or a confidential discussion to learn more about this exciting role, please call Nick on 0434 586 321 or email me at nick@psgaus.com.au
