Communications and Engagement Project Officer is responsible for providing communications consistent with CLO’s purpose, values, and service approach across all technological platforms. The position will be expected to engage with the sector and stakeholders to support the growth and promotion of CLO services. Key Responsibilities: Assist with delivering engaging, accessible, and inclusive communications that reflect CLO’s commitment to disability rights, participant voice, and diversity. Ensure all communication channels, including social media, website, and newsletters, are aligned with CLO’s strategic direction and tone of voice. Provide communications and engagement support to the Chief Strategy and Specialist Services Officer (CSSSO), contributing to projects that drive strategic growth and service excellence. Support the promotion of sustainable growth across existing and emerging markets through targeted communication and marketing initiatives. Assist in maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and professionalism of CLO’s brand across all public-facing platforms. Collaborate with internal teams and services to deliver consistent messaging that reflects CLO’s purpose, values, and service approach. Actively contribute to a culture of inclusion and respect, embracing and promoting diversity across all aspects of engagement and communication. Assist in the creation of the CLO annual report. Deliver against agreed KPI’s from the Marketing and business development plan To be Successful Previous experience in marketing and communications Excellent administrative and IT skills Ability to demonstrate active listening Maintain high level of confidentiality. Engages professionally in CLO’s performance systems. Ability to work effectively with a high diverse range of people. Flexible approach to working structure, including hours and locations. Exceptional communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. Qualifications and Essential Licences Current Drivers Licence NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain Working with Children Check or willing to obtain Tertiary Qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or relevant field.
