KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Gain practical, hands-on experience in metal fabrication, welding, and assembly. Assist experienced boilermakers and welders in manufacturing and assembling key engineering components. Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precision and quality. Participate in quality control processes, inspecting and evaluating welds and materials. Adhere to safety procedures and engage in ongoing safety training to maintain a safe working environment. Support the upkeep and maintenance of welding equipment and machinery. Assist with material handling and inventory management in the workshop. Collaborate with a skilled team to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: A strong interest in building a career as a Boilermaker/Welder.
