About the Role We’re looking for a Resource Allocator to join our client at Brisbane Airport. You’ll be responsible for managing daily workforce supply and demand across catering operations, ensuring accurate and efficient rostering in a fast-paced environment. Using rostering systems and established business processes, you’ll process shift changes/swaps, training schedules, overtime, labour hire updates, and leave requests—constantly reviewing supply and demand to ensure operational staffing coverage is met. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that’s ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, understands operational logistics, and has a strong background in workforce coordination. Who’s the Client? This client places a strong focus on hygiene, safety, and efficiency. Your Responsibilities As a Resource Allocator, your main tasks will include: Manage roster updates including shift changes, leave, training, and overtime Allocate staff and labour hire resources based on real-time operational demand Handle staff enquiries related to rosters and scheduling Prepare daily staffing sheets and reports for all catering departments Ensure compliance with relevant EBAs and industrial agreements Maintain accuracy and integrity across all workforce management systems Collaborate with planning teams to ensure efficient staffing coverage The Must-Haves To succeed in this role, you’ll need: Proven experience in high-volume workforce planning or rostering Understanding of EBAs, payroll compliance, and scheduling systems Excellent organisational and time-management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities High attention to detail and computer literacy Flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays Who Are We?
