We’re looking for qualified Electricians and Fire Alarm Technicians to join a growing team supporting major clients in the Mackay, Coalfields, and regional Queensland areas . Working across installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire protection systems, you’ll help safeguard critical infrastructure while gaining highly valued industry skills. Whether you’re already in fire protection or looking to transition from general electrical work, full training and national qualifications are available. You’ll be working with systems such as: Fire alarms (including evacuation and emergency lighting) VESDA & gaseous fire suppression Special hazards systems Key Responsibilities Install, commission, service, and maintain fire protection systems Troubleshoot faults and ensure compliance with Australian Standards Recommend upgrades and improvements to client systems Accurately report work progress, KPIs, and site compliance Travel to sites across regional Queensland as needed About You QLD Electrical Mechanic License (or equivalent interstate qualifications) Fire systems experience is advantageous but not essential Able to work 5/2, 4/3, or 7/7 rosters (local, FIFO or DIDO) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Drivers Licence (mandatory) Nice to have (but not required): Knowledge of AS 1851, AS 1670, AS 3000 Familiarity with brands like Notifier, Vigilant, or other major systems Coal Board Medical, Standard 11, and relevant inductions QBCC licenses in Electrical or Special Hazards What’s in It for You?
