About the role Step into the fast-paced world of automotive service as a key player in our team! As a Service Advisor, you’ll manage the customer journey from start to finish. From booking customers in and receiving their cars on the day, to following up after repairs are completed and everything in-between. Service advisors are the heart of the service department; being the main point of contact between the customer, technical and parts teams, this role requires strong organisation and communication skills and a customer centric attitude. Duties Scheduling customer service repair orders, obtaining a clear brief from the customer as to any issues Keep a close eye on the progress through the workshop. Preparing invoices and closing allocated repairs Maintain contact with customers throughout the day Update and quote customers on recommended repairs Ordering parts accordingly Ensuring the customers' expectations are exceeded Assisting the Workshop team in resolving any customer-related concerns Processing payments of cash, cheque, and Eftpos daily Skills and experience Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Automotive industry experience highly regarded but not essential Basic computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new software systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple repair orders daily. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
