Your Role: The Broker Support Officer will undertake activities that result in the achievement of performance targets across a variety of measures including member focus, referring, or completing cross product opportunities and monitoring broker submissions to ensure they meet compliance requirements. Your major responsibilities include, but not limited to: · Process and manage broker home loan & personal loan applications. · Manage High pipeline volumes in a fast-paced environment. · Manage broker and member expectations and application speed to decision. · Manage SLAs · Consistent communication with brokers with outstanding and other requirements requested by credit · Communicate to internal stakeholders such as credit and settlement team to ensure all applications are processed within agreed timeframe · Maintain co-operation of other Australian Military Bank staff (e.g. Credit, Settlements, Digital Sales, Retail Distribution, and IT) to support the Intermediary Channel · Refer and complete cross selling opportunities (including general insurance) · Ensure credit quality meets our standards. · Complete Aggregator and Broker compliance review · Ensure that all credit submissions meet AMB policy and criteria, maintaining high standards of quality in credit evaluations. · Foster strong member relationships by encouraging and managing comprehensive engagement, including the maintenance of savings and transaction accounts to strengthen member bonds and support overall membership growth. · Participate in various training sessions and ongoing support programs across different departments and channels to support continuous professional development and skill enhancement. About You To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the below key attributes and experience: Understanding a range of diverse products, processes, and corresponding regulatory requirements Understanding of Mortgage Broker industry Knowledge of financial products, processes and systems Verbal, numerical, literacy skills Computer skills (including email, internet, Microsoft applications) Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
