The Australian Hotel is seeking a Cook or Chef to join the team Using only the freshest local produce, our restaurant is well known for its diverse and modern cuisine. As a Chef / Cook, your daily responsibilities will include: Assisting our team in maintaining an efficient and proactive kitchen operation across both venues Ensuring all meals are of high quality and are prepared on time Utilising a variety of fresh, frozen, and prepared ingredients to prepare, cook, and present a range of dishes according to a seasonal menu Practicing effective stock rotation and wastage minimisation procedures Assisting with menu changes when required Successful Candidate: To be successful in the role, you will possess the following: Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen Availability to work any hospitality hours Ability to work well under a high-pressure environment Brilliant communication skills to all team members Applicants should have formal qualifications and at least 1 years of relevant employment experience or, in the absence of formal qualifications, have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.
