As we expand our Infrastructure & Energy division, we’re seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the pricing of major mechanical and electrical (M&E) infrastructure projects across transport, oil & gas, water, and process sectors. Position Overview As a Senior Estimator , you’ll be a key contributor to major tenders and project bids, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness and risk-aligned pricing across a variety of industrial infrastructure scopes. You’ll work closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to deliver detailed cost breakdowns that support successful project execution. This permanent position can be based in Pakenham (VIC), Henderson (WA), or Burton (SA) , offering flexible working options and long-term career growth with a dynamic, project driven organisation. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage complete cost estimates for mechanical and electrical infrastructure projects. Lead bid pricing and proposal development for complex, multi-disciplinary projects. Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure accuracy and alignment. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing and scope validation. Oversee tender documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards. Conduct internal peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools and processes. What You’ll Bring Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent industry experience). Minimum 5 years in a senior or lead estimating role, ideally with focus on mechanical and electrical packages. Proven experience across infrastructure, transport, oil & gas, water, or industrial process plants. Familiarity with working under Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors on large-scale, multi-trade packages. Strong knowledge of subcontracting, procurement processes, and construction methodologies. Proficient in estimating software, spreadsheets, and project controls (e.g., Excel, Candy, CostX, etc.).
