Key Responsibilities: Resource Allocation: Assign trucks and drivers to delivery routes based on capacity, priority, and destination. Scheduling: Develop and maintain daily transport schedules, making real-time adjustments as needed. Coordination & Communication: Liaise with drivers and clients to confirm delivery requirements, resolve issues, and optimise logistics. Tracking & Reporting: Monitor deliveries, provide stakeholders with updates, and maintain accurate transport records. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all transport activities align with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Problem Solving: Quickly respond to operational challenges such as delays, breakdowns, and route changes with proactive solutions. What We’re Looking For: Proven Experience: Previous experience in transport allocation, logistics coordination, or fleet management. Strong Organisational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with transport management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with drivers, clients, and internal teams. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in scheduling, compliance, and reporting.
