About the role Health Personnel Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced Locum Sonographer to join their team in Cessnock, NSW on a contract basis. Dates required are June 6th for a minimum of 6-8 weeks. As a Locum Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and efficient patient flow. What you'll be doing Performing a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal scans Accurately capturing and interpreting ultrasound images to assist with medical diagnoses Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring all documentation is completed to a high standard Adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols and quality assurance measures Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Continuously developing your skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry best practices What we're looking for A recognised qualification in medical sonography with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role Registered as a Sonographer with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients and other healthcare providers Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and upholding professional standards Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work as part of a team or independently as required What we offer This role is packed full of benefits, things such as: - Travel and accommodation provided - Flexible working hours, 8-5pm 9 day fortnight or 8-4pm 10 day fortnight - Always working with other sonographers and radiologists onsite - brand new site!
