Key Responsibilities Design, prepare, and present innovative Middle Eastern-inspired pastries and desserts to a two-hatted standard Oversee all aspects of pastry production, including mise en place, baking, plating, and service Maintain consistency and quality across all pastry dishes while meeting production timelines Collaborate with the Executive Chef and senior team on seasonal menu development and special event planning Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and allergen protocols in the pastry section Train, supervise, and mentor junior pastry staff to uphold excellence in execution Manage pastry inventory and ordering in coordination with suppliers and kitchen management Uphold kitchen discipline, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times Skills & Experience Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining or hatted restaurant In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern pastry techniques Strong creativity and ability to deliver visually striking and flavourful desserts Passion for Middle Eastern flavours and contemporary interpretations Excellent time management, communication, and leadership skills Relevant qualifications in Patisserie or Commercial Cookery Full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays Permanent Full Time role with $73K - $78K (plus super) If you believe you would be a good fit for our team, please send your resume and contact details to the details attached.
