We are actively seeking a dedicated Senior Advisor (Work Health and Safety) to advocate for contractor safety assurance across our Infrastructure Management and Delivery (IMD) division. Contribute to some of Queensland’s most important infrastructure projects. Make a meaningful impact on safety outcomes that affect workers and communities every day. In this frontline advisory role, you’ll work closely with project managers, contract administrators, and WHS practitioners to ensure contractors uphold the highest standards of safety. Key responsibilities: Provide advice on workplace health and safety guidance and support across Infrastructure Management Delivery projects. Collaborate with project and regional leaders to implement our WHS Delivery Model. Monitor and review principal contractor safety performance and risk management systems. Drive continuous improvement through incident investigations, data analysis, and assurance initiatives. Lead onsite audits and inspections, fostering accountability and a proactive safety culture. Deliver training and consultation to ensure the effective implementation of safety governance across project teams. What you can bring to this role: Proven experience in WHS advisory roles, preferably within infrastructure or major project environments. Strong knowledge of contractor safety assurance principles and client-side governance. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach. A passion for elevating workplace safety standards through innovation, leadership, and teamwork.
