An opportunity currently exists from our Head Office based in Kingston for a fulltime Assistant Coordinator for our Steel Operations Department. About the role: With the growth that is happening in our Steel Department, we are looking for an experienced Office Administration who will assist the Steel Department in schedules and relationships with our sub-contractors and suppliers. About you: You are self-motivated and driven to make a difference with strong attention to detail. You enjoy sharing your passion for sustainable building and want to make an impactful change in the industry. Responsibilities: Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Build, maintain and develop relations with new and existing contractors, liaising with them on all aspects of their requirements. Plan, oversee, monitor, and report on the progress of projects. Strong problem solving and decision making. Assisting in coordination between the sales representatives, contractors, and estimators to produce effective completion of projects. To be considered for this role, is desirable that you possess the following: Industry knowledge within the steel scaffolding/building industries High level of organizational skills, computer literacy and excellent written/verbal communication skills Leadership experience to manage work teams. Able to work under pressure.
