The Role: Coordinate clinical activities in Oncology and Haematology at LGH, including training, supervision, and support for pharmacy staff. Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including dispensing, patient counselling, and professional advice to health professionals. Educate pharmacy staff, including students, in clinical pharmacy services. Supervise, train, and lead pharmacists and support staff in Oncology and Haematology. Maintain drug information and evaluate drug utilisation, and participate in education programs and research in Oncology and Haematology. The Team: LGH is Tasmania's second largest hospital, serving Northern Tasmania, with around 4000 staff and 349 beds. The successful applicant will join the cancer and pharmacy team involved in chemotherapy verification, supply, and compounding for oncology patients. Details of appointment: Permanent full-time, day shift, 76 hours per fortnight, starting ASAP. Hours may be negotiated. Applicants should note that the selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for up to 12 months. Salary range: $110,425 to $126,703 per annum (plus 11.5% superannuation).
