The Role: Provide strategic leadership, high-level advice, and direction on a state-wide basis in the development and management of PSCP. Develop, implement, and evaluate a strategic and business framework, policies, systems, and processes to support the delivery of quality services. Advise on current and emerging trends in cancer prevention and control, particularly population screening, at organisational, state, and national levels. Oversee operational activities, ensure financial health by managing resources, budgets, and compliance to maintain efficiency and maximise impact. Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture by supporting and inspiring staff, promoting professional growth, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams to enhance performance and job satisfaction. You will need to: Direct the statewide operational and strategic activities of PSCP, aligning with Agency objectives, and provide leadership, coordination, and management of resources to achieve these goals. Establish goals and strategies for major initiatives, including workforce planning, services restructuring, and workforce profile changes within the wider framework of the Agency. Develop and control business plans, and lead the development and evaluation of strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance service capacity to meet community needs. Details of appointment: Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant. Salary: $170,409 to $188,400 per annum plus an Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution.
