About The Role Closing Date: 21/05/2025 The Information Security Engineer will be a valued member of the IT team, providing day-to-day ICT Security support for all information assets of AWH organisation, either directly or via other IT team members. The Information Security Engineer will apply their security technical expertise to advise and implement initiatives to uplift the overall Information Security posture of Albury Wodonga Health. This role will be the primary technical resource for the ICT team for all Cybersecurity initiatives and will be involved in the assessment, containment, response and recovery activities relating to cybersecurity incidents. Documentation is an important element of this role for both information sharing and evidence. The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for conducting assessments and supporting new and changed applications, infrastructure and devices to meet the needs of Albury Wodonga Health We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity. Mandatory Relevant qualification or experience: industry certification of MCP/MCSE; relevant University Degree; Certificate IV in Information Technology or related field; or demonstrated extended relevant experience in the field at the same technical level as the position that is described in this document7 years previous ICT Level 2 equivalent experience.One or both of: cybersecurity/information security certification; or networking and firewall experience or certification.
