Job Description Career Development Join a growing team Work with a passionate team The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Roads Design Engineer with expertise in 12D software to join our team in designing and delivering infrastructure projects across Australia. You will be responsible for providing design solutions for roadworks, highways, and transportation-related infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, timeliness, and compliance with standards. Key Accountabilities Design and plan roads, highways, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and client specifications. Utilize 12D Software for creating, modifying, and analyzing 3D road designs, including alignments, cross-sections, earthworks, and drainage. Develop technical reports, design calculations, and documentation related to road projects. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to meet project deliverables. Review plans and calculations to ensure quality and mitigate risks. Identify challenges and provide innovative, cost-effective solutions. Communicate with clients to understand requirements, address concerns, and update on progress. Required Skills and Competencies 3-5 years experience in road design engineering, with proven expertise in 12D Software. Knowledge of road geometry, drainage, and earthworks design. Familiarity with Australian road standards and regulations, including AUSTROADS and local council requirements. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
