Part-time (0.6 FTE), fixed-term 18-month role Lead and support impactful research initiatives, grant acquisition, and advanced data management in a Research Support role Base Salary $108,557 - $118,267 (pro-rata) 17% superannuation About the opportunity Join a dynamic research environment as a Research Support Officer, where you'll play a key role in driving research initiatives, securing grants, and implementing advanced data management tools. Operating with a high level of autonomy, you will contribute your subject matter expertise to support research documentation and provide strategic advice, while collaborating with stakeholders to resolve complex challenges. Your key responsibilities will be to: Guide research priorities and direction in alignment with university and NSW Health objectives, working across key sites including St Leonards and Camperdown lead the development and implementation of innovative research methodologies, data management systems, and documentation practices build and manage effective partnerships with external stakeholders to enhance research impact and collaboration champion best practice in research quality, compliance, and dissemination, including publications and reporting support team communication and stakeholder engagement, contributing to research that strengthens patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) promote a safe, compliant, and proactive work environment while addressing risks and supporting continuous improvement. About you Master’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, Epidemiology or Health Services Research strong analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience managing, reporting, and disseminating research data proficiency in research software, databases, and computer applications, with excellent numeracy and attention to detail effective planning, organisation, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a research environment proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including academic and technical staff demonstrated experience in research administration and fostering collaborative relationships across complex organisations experience in team leadership and people management, including performance development and supporting teams through change.
