The Company: With an annual turnover of $300m, this well-established National business has a busy forecast and a solid growth strategy which has been successfully implemented in recent years. They are involved in projects between $5m-$50m for clients in the public and private sectors. Due to a number of recent wins in their regional NSW office they are looking for experienced construction professionals in a number of key areas. We are now looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to support their regional office and project teams. To be considered for this role you will be a HSE Advisor with tier 1 or 2 Construction experience. Skills & Experience As a HSEQ Advisor, you’ll be an essential part of the team, managing and maintaining all things HSEQ related to ensure effective delivery of programs, compliance with company safety standards and honoring our commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace. Tertiary qualifications in HSEQ or a related. HSEQ management processes and systems including Procure and Sign on Site (preferrable) Strong organisational and time management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Procore, or Excel). A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking. Commitment to continuous improvement. Role & Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and distribution of safety procedures, work instructions, documentation, and training materials. Monitor and report on safety performance and compliance. Assist in the implementation and enforcement of company safety policies and programs. Travel to job sites weekly to ensure safety compliance is maintained at high standards. Support internal and external HSEQ audits. Assist with requirements for tender pre-qualifications. Assist in the upkeep of ISO and OFSC certification. Maintain 3rd party building/contractor management portal requirements Maintain the calendar, agenda and record minutes for the WHS committee. Onboard all new starters and coordinate annual HSEQ training requirements. 5 years of experience in a similar role (construction related is a bonus) Why Apply?
