The Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Controller or Dealership Accountant to lead our Administration Department. Reporting directly to Senior Management, you will oversee the full accounting and payroll functions of the business, ensuring compliance and efficient processes. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end month-end processes, including deal reconciliations, accruals, and departmental P&Ls Reconcile control accounts and maintain balance sheet accuracy Prepare and lodge BAS and annual FBT returns Oversee payroll processing, including superannuation and tax compliance Manage accounts payable and receivable functions Produce monthly financial reports and manufacturer submissions Complete year-end financial processes About You The ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator in the automotive sector, with a strong background in finance and accounting. You will ideally have: Several years’ experience in automotive administration Previously held a 2IC or assistant role to a Financial Controller or Accountant High attention to detail, strong time management, and excellent communication skills A professional approach with a team-oriented mindset Proficiency with dealer management systems and Microsoft Office Suite Remuneration A competitive salary package will be offered, reflective of your experience and skill set.
