Reporting directly to the ACO’s CFO and working closely in partnership with the Director of Operations, Director of Research and Training, Clinic management, and the CFO, the incumbent will be expected to play a proactive role in the development and analysis of data and management reporting and processes for the ACO. Accountabilities Collect, analyse, and interpret financial and operational data to support business decision-making across the clinic and education lines of business. Support the preparation of management reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Monitor budget adherence and provide insights on financial performance trends. Develop and manage data collection and reporting tools, often involving Excel, ERP systems, or BI platforms (Workday Adaptive planning). Skills And Experiences About you The Management Data Accountant needs to have experience in a broad range of Management Accounting and/or Financial Analysis or project implementation and possess flexibility and strong multi-tasking skills, a structured and analytical approach to reporting and business analysis, together with: Advanced computer literacy and technology skills, specifically in MS Excel/Word skills and database management. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates diligence and a high degree of accuracy Pricing, Management and Project accounting experience Developed and demonstrated commercial acumen. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, report writing and presentation skills are required. You will also be flexible, adaptable and proactive in finding solutions to any challenges presented. Criteria Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or data – CA/CPA qualified or working towards a post graduate qualification (highly regarded). Experience with Management Accounting and/or Financial Analysis or project implementation. Strong financial analysis skills including financial modelling and forecasting skills.
