Skills: Ability to work under fast paced environment Good financial literacy Ability to adhere to Australian taxation standards Good communication skills Strong computer software skills Ability to multitask Duties: Preparing and Lodging GST returns for the company on a quarterly basis Generating inventory stock reports, BAS, P&L, Balance sheet, Cash flow, Accounts receivable and payable, Inventory stock report, Fixed assets statements and discussing he growth of business with directors using spreadsheets and charts Preparing budgets with the revenue forecasts and expenses at the start of the financial year Preparing PAYG summaries for employees at the end of the financial year Preparing and finalizing year-end tax returns Maintaining general ledger and generating monthly bank reconciliation statements Maintaining proper backup files for research and reference. Monitor accounts to ensure that payments are up to date and also ensure that invoices for accounts receivables and payables are processed in a timely manner. Doing the year-end closing process, conducting research and making correction in journal entries for account discrepancies, prepares closing journal entries, post accrual entries. Supervising the reporting on debtors and creditors ledger accounts and processing their payments as per agreed terms Preparing various financial reports for compliance with accounting regulations Liaising with External Auditors for company audit and resolving any issue if arises in Audit Responsible for registering with MYOB for accurate and quick preparation of the company’s financial documents. Communicating with ATO, ASIC & other government institutes on behalf of Business
