This role would suit an accountant who has a diverse background across different types of accounting and can adapt to a general accounting role as you will be a key member of the team in providing financial services and advice, including: Annual financial forecasts and budget reporting Policy development and reconciliations Business tax returns, BAS, payroll, and FBT reporting Key Responsibilities Analyse, interpret, and report on financial results, forecasts, and budgets Prepare month-end accrual journals and management reports Manage payroll tax, BAS, FBT, and taxable payment reporting Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register Develop and refine accounting policies and procedures Provide training and support to management and staff Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legislation What We’re Looking For Essential: Strong experience in taxation, compliance, and financial reporting Knowledge of complex accounting concepts and financial analysis Experience preparing budgets and analysing financial reports Strong communication skills to liaise with senior management Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills Desirable/nice to haves: Tertiary qualifications in finance/accounting CPA or CAANZ membership (or eligibility to apply) Experience in a corporate accounting environment Knowledge of activity-based costing across multiple business units Experience with Pronto and Cognos reporting If you are interested in this role, please apply now or contact Adam Armstrong for further details at adama@foundationrec.com.au or 0450 134 571
