Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Part-Time Bookkeeper (days are negotiable) to support our finance function to start immediately This role requires strong technical knowledge in payroll processing, statutory compliance, and financial reconciliation. Key Responsibilities: End-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank and credit card reconciliations Full-cycle payroll processing (weekly/fortnightly) including superannuation, PAYG, and award interpretation Maintain general ledger integrity and assist with BAS, IAS, and superannuation lodgement Prepare month-end financial reports and assist in cash flow forecasting Support audit preparation and external accountant liaison Manage employee hero/ payroll data , ensure Fair Work and ATO requirements are meet. Ensure compliance with relevant tax and financial legislation Skills & Experience Required: Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping and payroll Proficient with Sage, MYOB, or similar accounting software experience Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Modern Awards, and Fair Work requirements Understanding of GST, BAS, PAYG, and Superannuation compliance High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organisational skills Ability to manage deadlines independently and prioritise tasks Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or equivalent (preferred) If you're a technically skilled Bookkeeper with proven payroll experience and you're seeking a flexible role within a supportive team environment, we’d love to hear from you.
