Under our Good Works umbrella we have many services and programs, including soup vans, education programs, home visitation programs and VincentCare Victoria (VCV), which assists some of Victoria’s most vulnerable communities, such as people experiencing homelessness, the housing crisis and family violence, and the elderly. The Role As the Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the EGM for Housing and Property Strategy and other Senior Managers to provide advice and support across the housing portfolio within VCCH and asset management across the group. Key Responsibilities The preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets for the VCCH portfolio Monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting with detailed analytics and commentary on the performance of the business with trend analysis to enable management to take decisive steps Ongoing evaluation of financial performance in conjunction with EGMs and Managers, being an active and supportive finance partner Assist the various stakeholders within the portfolio on day to day queries to enable smooth operations About you With your previous experience in the field, you are able to analyse complex financial information and communicate it to a wide variety of audiences. Highly organized and detail orientated, you bring a client-focused approach to your work as you build strong relationships with key stakeholders and deliver excellent customer service. More specifically you will have: Proven experience in business partnering, management accounting and reporting preferably in the construction/ social housing or community services sector, including sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and associated legislation and compliance standards Exposure to government funding at a Federal, State and Local level Exposure to government capital projects Proven experience in process improvement and demonstrated change management skills Preferred experience in Business Central, Jet Reporting or equivalent and Magiq Software or similar ERP systems Tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting Professional membership of CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants to the level of CPA or ACA desirable Why work for us?
