We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Quality Coordinator for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business, focusing on newly awarded Sydney Water projects, and supporting tender teams to win new work. This role will be project based supporting the teams working there. You’ll be responsible for This opportunity will see you accountable for supporting the program to ensure all aspects of Quality regarding IMS and client specifications/requirements are met. Ensuring key obligations and objectives are complied with at a program and organisational level. Providing support and advice to the program in regards to the Quality aspects of the IMS ensuring effective implementation of project Quality plan Providing support and advice regarding relevant Policies, procedures, standards and specifications Providing support, advice and guidance to Project Teams in relation to quality concerns and issues Developing Inspection and test plans in line with requirements of the quality plan Conducting quality assessments, site visits and audits to assess performance and opportunities for improvement Ensuring accurate records, registers and documents are maintained by the workplace Monitor, inspect and audit quality systems to ensure compliance with IMS and specifications including subcontractors and suppliers Undertaking reporting as required (monthly reports, permit requirements etc) Attending meetings with the Project Teams as required Be open in communication with client stakeholders and aim to enhance the existing relationships What we need from you You will have the ability to build strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders whilst working collaboratively across a diverse and complex environment. You will be resilient, adaptable and someone who is comfortable making decisions and taking the initiative. The key to your success will be your ability to bring people together, build relationships and manage situations in a diplomatic and professional manner. Tertiary qualification in business, engineering or related field, or experience deemed equivalent Internal Auditor Training Construction Industry Induction White Card (preferred) Demonstrated influencing, negotiation and investigation skills Demonstrated oral and written communication skills Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Exposure to construction and maintenance / operations would be highly regarded An affinity for continuous improvement and innovation, applying learnings to ‘real world’ project delivery environments.
