In this role, you will support the team by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information through the maintenance of our accounts and financial systems. Based in our Ballarat Support Office, you will: Various P&L reviews as required; investigating and correcting anomalies Month end processing and review Complete balance sheet reconciliations Investigate a variety of issues, independently planning and implementing solutions, escalating only as required Assist with preparation of the consolidated statutory accounts Compile information and memos to support the accounting treatment of specific items and the notes to the statutory accounts Act as a key contact for the annual statutory audit and ensure information and support required by external auditors is provided in a timely and accurate manner Prepare various reports and presentations for management, the CFO, and the Board of Directors as required Provide financial analysis and advice to assist business decisions, including the effect of accounting standards, capex spend and budgets, cash flow forecasting, etc. If you have the below experience we would love to hear from you! Finance related degree CA/CPA qualified Strong accounting technical skills Statutory accounting and reporting experience in industry and/or from an audit background.
