The Role As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in a close-knit, collaborative environment. You’ll take ownership across a broad range of tax consultancy, accountancy, and business advisory services for a diverse portfolio of individuals and SMEs. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll have the autonomy to manage tax compliance and reporting, work closely with clients, and support junior staff development. Day to Day Preparation of financial statements for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and SMSFs. Preparation and lodgement of BAS and FBT returns. Ensure compliance with relevant Accounting Standards. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manage WIP to ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget. Mentor and oversee junior team members, assisting with workflow management. Provide management reporting, financial analysis, advice, and corporate advisory services. True exposure across business, tax, and advisory, not just compliance work. Competitive salary package, with a review post-probation. CA or CPA qualified. 3–5 years’ experience in public practice accounting. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to meeting deadlines. Prior experience with Xero is essential.
