The Construction Technician 2 is responsible for applying their
knowledge and experience to support the Public Works segment in
delivering above standard and within budget projects within the agreed
upon timeline.
- Inputs data into pre-written computer programs
- Operates computer and runs reports or calculations
- Interprets construction plans and specifications
- Observes construction operations on various sites to assess
conformance to plans and specifications
- Performs construction materials testing
- Communicates effectively with other staff, contractor personnel, and
client representatives
- Participates in technical training sessions and achieves various
certifications associated with construction inspection, as well as
renewing held certifications
