Summary Objective
The purpose of this position is to inspect and enforce compliance with all laws, regulations and ordinances governing land use, minimum housing, property maintenance, abandoned and uninhabitable properties, signs, zoning, landscaping and related environmental issues.
This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements
Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
Requires two years of experience working with the public in code enforcement, planning, building inspection, construction or closely related field.
