We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Museum/Sales Assistant to join the RAAFA team. The RAAFA Aviation Heritage Museum is a place that continues to tell the story of Australian Aviation History with an impressive collection of Aeroplanes and other artifacts.
We are searching for an enthusiastic Museum Assistant to work part time, who can continue to provide information and sales to our visitors. Thie will also include alternate weekends.

The Role And You
- Greeting, interacting and attending to customer's requirements.
- Ticket and merchandise sales.
- Maintaining cash register while receiving payments from customers.
- Cash handling and balancing.
- Take group bookings.
- Promote museum tours and experiences.
- Stocking of various merchandise.
- This will include weekday and alternate weekend work.

About You
- Enthusiastic and friendly approach.
- Good communication skills and ability to understand the needs of visitors.
- Ability to work in a busy and flexible environment.
- Experience in the tourism industry.
- Experience in customer service, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise in customer facing environment.
- Weekend availability.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel and Outlook, POS and other web-related programs.
- Cash handling and retail sales skills.
