Position Overview
We are currently seeking full-time Construction Helper to join our fast-growing Kenyon & Partners Team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the trades. We provide hands-on training to help you grow into a skilled technician while gaining and mentorship to help you grow into a skilled technician while gaining valuable on-the-job experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Support skilled tradespeople across general and mechanical construction projects
- Perform a variety of general labor tasks including site cleanup, material handling, and equipment setup
- Assist with basic painting, carpentry, and drywall work under supervision
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment safely across the job site
- Perform heavy lifting and support physical job site operations as needed
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team productivity
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces in compliance with safety protocols
- Demonstrate readiness and motivation to learn and grow within the trade
- Uphold a strong work ethic and a positive, team-focused attitude
Accountabilities
- Execute daily tasks safely and efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
- Support project teams in delivering work that meets Kenyon & Partners’ standards of excellence
- Demonstrate continuous improvement and commitment to trade development
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT
This position reports directly to the local Project Manager.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Willingness to grow into a skilled trade role through hands-on experience and training
- Must have a clean background and driving record, and be able to pass a drug screening
- Ability to follow direction, work well with others, and complete tasks with strong attention to detail
- Basic hand tools required; additional tools or trade experience a plus
- Physically capable of lifting and transporting materials and equipment
- Strong customer service orientation and positive attitude

Clear communicator who can follow instructions, ask questions when needed, and work effectively within a team environment.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills helpful for measuring, calculating material needs, and following technical instructions.

Physical Demands
This role requires frequent standing, lifting, bending, and walking on active job sites. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
