We specialize in the installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems, serving various sectors including Industrial, K-12 Education, Single Family, Retail, and Office.
Role Description: We are seeking a full-time, Project Manager to join our team at Wright Construction Co., Inc. in Grapevine, TX. The Project Manager will serve as the financial administrator for each construction project assigned to them. This role requires collaboration with our entire team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. This will be an in-office position with occasional project visits (not remote work)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Following our established process to ensure all tasks are completed timely.
- Preconstruction tasks, material buyout, subcontracting, subcontract preparation, purchase orders, submittals
- Collaborate with team members, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review of revised drawings, change order pricing and preparation, issue RFI for clarifications.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial accountability.
- Implement project management tools and best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Construction Management, or equal on the job experience or a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a related role within the construction industry.
- Experience with a GC, or a Civil Contractor preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
- Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in preparing and managing project budgets.
