The Role:

We have an opportunity at our Tomago facility for a Fabricator Apprentice. This role will involve being mentored by experienced Fabricator’s where you will learn all aspects of the trade on the job.

Our apprentices are mentored by experienced trades, learn all aspects of the trade on the job, and also gain a Certificate III qualification by completing training via block release or weekly attendance at TAFE.

To be considered for this role you will:

• Be at least 16 years old

• Committed to completing a 4-year apprenticeship

• Able to travel regularly to TAFE

• Current Drivers licence or reliable means of transport

• Have a mechanical aptitude

• Be self-motivated to successfully complete both work and study commitments

• Demonstrate a high quality of work and attention to detail

• Be physically capable of performing repetitive tasks – lifting, bending, twisting

• Successfully complete a pre-placement medical including D&A testing
