Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding and installing a variety of structural steel projects, as well as metal works packages and general repairs and maintenance. This role requires strong welding skills and the ability to read drawings.

Skills:

1. Proficient in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding

2. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

3. Strong attention to detail

4. Excellent hand-eye coordination

5. Physical strength and stamina

6. Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

1. Fabricate, weld and install a variety of structural steel projects, as well as metal works packages and general repairs and maintenance from shop detail drawings or verbal instructions.

2. Weld components using appropriate welding techniques

3. Inspect completed work for quality assurance

4. Repair damaged or defective metal parts as needed

5 .Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times

Qualifications:

1 .Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding)

2 .Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Boilermaker

3 .White Card Preferred

4 .Forklift Ticket Optimal

5 .Ability to work independently or as part of a team
