Volunteer with Mackay Northern Beaches Lions Club The Mackay Northern Beaches Lions Club is a welcoming community of people who are passionate about giving back. We are always looking for new members, as well as Friends of the Lions who may not wish to join formally but would love to lend a hand in volunteering. Lions is about serving your local communitywhether thats through fundraising, sharing important information, or filling gaps where support is needed most. Where theres a will, theres a Lion. As part of Lions International, we also support a wide range of global causes, including: Vision preventing avoidable blindness and improving eye health Diabetes raising awareness and supporting quality of life for people living with diabetes Hunger ensuring access to nutritious food in local and global communities Environment restoring and protecting our planet for future generations Childhood Cancer providing hope and support to children and families affected by cancer Disaster Relief helping communities respond to and recover from natural disasters Humanitarian Efforts addressing diverse global needs with care and compassion Youth empowering young people through Leo Clubs, camps, and leadership development programs Flexible volunteering on your terms We understand that everyone has different schedules and passions, so we offer flexible volunteering opportunities where you can tap in and tap out as it suits you.
