We operate 8 high-quality practices across Central Queensland - including Gladstone, Rockhampton, Yeppoon, and Emerald - and collaborate closely with our sister company, Sunshine Coast Radiology. ____ About the Role We're looking for a motivated Medical Receptionist to join our busy front desk team at Emerald Hospital . You'll be the welcoming face of our practice, providing exceptional service to patients attending appointments for a full range of imaging services including X-ray, Ultrasound, and MRI. Hours: Monday to Friday, rostered between 8:00am - 5:00pm. ‍♀️ No weekends! ____ Your Day Could Include: Being the friendly first point of contact for patients Handling patient bookings, payments, and Medicare/Health Fund claims Liaising with referrers, doctors, and patients to ensure timely delivery of medical results Participating in team meetings and ongoing training Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and HR policies ____ ‍♀️ About You Previous experience in medical, dental, allied health, or hospital reception Confidence using bookings systems and strong computer skills Understanding of (or keen to learn) medical terminology Warm, professional communication style and excellent presentation A team player with integrity and a passion for patient care ____ ✨ What's In It for You?
